人教版高中英语必修三Unit 2 Healthy Eating一、Analysis of teaching materialThis unit gives students a better understanding of healthy eating.It encourages students to examine their own eating practices and see whether they are eating a healthy diet or not. It ishoped that students can use this information to monitor and improve their diet in the future.Reading part plays a very important part in this unit.By studying the lesson, Ss can improve their reading ability, learn more about the issues involved in healthy eating. At the same time,we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences to comprehend the passagebetter. The Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. Of course, the Ss shouldreceive some moral education.Let the Ss keep a healthy eating and build a healthyboby.1、Knowledge and skill objectiveDevelop Ss’ basic skills of reading, such as predicting, skimming,scanning …2、Process and method objectiveEncourage Ss to practice, participate, and co-operate in the classroom activities. 3、Emotional, Attitude and Value objectiveSs know something about food and have a better comprehension towards a balanced diet.Teaching Key Points The students use their own words to express their own ideas and how to grasp the main idea of a paragraph.Teaching Difficult Points How to use some useful words and expression and make students learn reading skills and strategies二、Analysis of StudentsThe students have known something about the healthy eating through the internet and otherways.They are lack of vocabulary. They don’t often use English to express themselves and


ccommunicate with each others. Some Ss are not active in the class because they are afraid ofmaking mistakes. So give them opportunity as possible as I can practice.三、Analysis of Teaching methodsTask-based language teaching is adopted in this lesson. The task is to get the structure of this text. I will ask students to dividethe whole text into three parts and try to get the main idea of each part. By means of TBLT, students are involved and engaged in the task and classroom activities, and therefore they can learn moreabout the text.四、Analysis of Learning methodsSs need to develop some reading strategies such as skimming,scanning, summarizinginformation, and so on. In this lesson, students are instructed to develop the above mentionedreading strategies. Since the reading part tells the healthy eating, it’s necessary for Ss to searchsome bacground information about it . Besides, they should get information about the healthyfood and write a composition “How to Keep Health”.五、Teaching Procedures(一)Step1 Lead-in1.Show a piece of news, let students know the necessaryand the importance of the healthy eating. 2.Warming up: Arrange two activities using,let students do them before from the internet.Write down the answers. Check them in class. Purpose:Arouse the students’ interest of study. Help students understand reading part.(二)Step 2 Pre-readingRead the passage as quickly as you can, try your best to understand the text. I will show the questions on the screen and let some of you get the main idea of the each paragraph. Purpose:Improve the students’ reading ability and understand the general of each paragraph.  (三)Step 3 While-reading  Read the text individually, use question-and-answer activity. Purpose: Further understand the text (Train further reading ability) to find out some dofferentsentences and details of the text. (四)Step 4 Post-reading   1. True or faulse questions 2.Listen to the tape and retell the story


 (五)Step 5 Homework  Write a short passage about the passage.六、Blackboard design  At last, I will talk something about my blackboard design. As far as I am concerned, theblackboard design can reflect the teacher’s ability of mastering the text and leading the students tomaster the text easily.I will write the topic sentences on the blackboard, in order to tell the studentsthe importance of them in this class. I shall make the design inductive, instructive and artistic.  That is all.
