Unit4 Then and nowPart A Let’s learn (Page 35)教案教学目标1.语言技能:(1)能够听懂、会说、认读、默写三个地点名词:dining hall, gym, grass.(2)能够听懂、会说、认读、默写四个表示“过去时间段”的词汇:…years ago, months ago, last year, last month.(3)能够正确使用There be句型“There was no gym in my schooltwenty years ago. / There’s a new gym in our school now.”描述过去与现在存在或没有存在的事物。(4)能够运用新学的句型描述图片内容,找出图片中错误的地方。2.语言知识:(1)能了解单词简单的拼读规律,根据单词的音、义、形来学习词汇。3.情感态度、学习策略与文化意识:(1)敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误。(2)积极参与课堂学习活动,能对新学内容进行归纳与总结。(3)在学习的过程中,初步体会中外文化的异同之处。教学重点1.句型:There was no gym in my school twenty years ago. There’s a new gym in our school now.2.词汇:dining hall, gym, grass, …years ago, months ago, last year, last month.3.在日常生活中能够正确运用这些词汇与句型。教学难点1.“There be 结构的原形与过去式”句型的区别。2.“There be 结构的原形与过去式”句型在日常生活中的具体应用。教学用具1.教师准备与本课时相关的课件与音视频。第 1 页


教学过程Step 1:warm-up1.Greeting.师生用英语互相问候。2.Free talk.(师生交流,复习There be句型。)T:What was our school like five years ago?Ss:There was a ...... / There were ......T:What’s our school like now?Ss:There is a ...... / There are ......【设计意图】通过轻松的交流复习巩固与本课时相关的重点句型。Step 2:Presentation1.Lead-in(1)Look and describe:What’s Wu Yifan’s school like? What’s in Wu Yifan’s school?(教师出示Wu Yifan学校的图片,与学生共同讨论学校的建筑物,学校里面有什么?引出新词汇。) T:Look at the picture. This is Wu Yifan’s school. What’s the school like? What’s in his school? Ss:There is a dining hall. There is a gym. There is a grass.(grass表示“草地”时,它的复数形式是grasses,而表示“草”时,其复数形式是grass,属于不可数名词,比如:地上有很多草。There is much grass on the ground.)在这个环节,教师要尽量引导学生通过词汇的“音、义、形”来记忆单词。2.Read and spell the words.(教师引导学生拼读单词,并尝试记忆单词。) di-ning, dining h-all, hall g-ra-ss, grass g-ym, gym3.Watch and follow.(教师播放视频,学生跟读,引出词汇twenty years ago, …months ago, last year, last month.)4.Make sentences.(要求学生给单词造句子。)第 2 页

(1)Point and say the words.(教师指着单词,学生读单词,在这个环节,教师了解学生对单词的掌握程度之后,发现学生不熟悉的单词要及时巩固。)(2)Make sentences.(学生给单词造句子。)S1:There is a gym. There was no gym in our school five years ago…5.Read and spell the words.(教师引导学生拼读单词,并尝试记忆单词。) y-ear-s, years a-go, ago m-on-th, month Step 3:Practice1.Find the mistakes.(学生观察图片内容,圈出错误的词汇,再模仿课本中的句型进行描述。)(1)Look and describe the sentences and pictures.(教师帮助学生解决一些难点词汇:dynasty, motel.顺便与学生复习以前学过的词汇,在学生掌握词汇之后,再解析句子,这样,学生在运用句型的时候才能做到得心应手。) In the Tang dynasty …This is the motel.(这是汽车旅馆。)At that time, there were no gyms.
